For this task I was paired with Myles and Macy, we were tasked to recreate Corinne Bailey Rae's music video 'Stop Where You Are' as a practice task for our upcoming NEAs. We decided to have Myles as our main actor, Macy as our camera woman and me as the director/ coordinator. To plan, we identified every shot in our time frame wrote down the angle, lighting, background, costume etc. in order to be able to recreate it accurately. I believe our filming and editing was moderately successful to recreate the music video but it wasn’t great due to a low budget (£0). To improve i would try to get better and more professional lighting as well as more natural looking acting. This task has improved my communication skills and initiative. Which will be helpful moving forward onto other projects.
